Membership Levels
A variety of membership categories are available, with a one-time initiation fee. Monthly dues within each membership category vary for unmarried individuals and families. When exploring membership at Willow Oaks keep in mind that, unlike many other clubs, we do not have a dining requirement.
Full Membership
Full membership provides use of all Club facilities, including golf, tennis, pool, fitness and dining. Monthly dues also include range balls and court fees for tennis.
Athletic Membership
Athletic membership offers use of the tennis facilities, as well as the pool and clubhouse. Athletic members do have the option to play golf up to six times a year by paying the appropriate guest fee. As with the Full category, monthly dues include court fees for tennis.
Youth Full and Athletic Membership
Youth Full and Athletic membership offers reduced initiation fee to members ages 39 and under, as well as reduced dues until a member’s 35th birthday.
Social Membership
Social membership provides use of the clubhouse and dining facilities, as well as social events and activities offered at the Club.
Non-Resident Membership
When in Richmond, non-resident members enjoy 20 visits annually to golf and tennis and unlimited access to all other Club facilities when visiting Richmond. Qualification is available to persons who do not maintain a primary residence in the areas specified. Additionally, membership is not available to anyone who (1)resides in, (2) regularly attends school in, or (3) actively engages in business in the specified areas for more than three months during the calendar year. The specified areas include the following cities: Charlottesville, Colonial Heights, Richmond, Petersburg, or Williamsburg; and the following counties: Albemarle, Amelia, Buckingham, Caroline, Charles City, Chesterfield, Cumberland, Dinwiddie, Essex, Fluvanna, Gloucester, Goochland, Hanover, Henrico, James City, King & Queen, King George, King William, Lancaster, Louisa, Mathews, Middlesex, New Kent, Northumberland, Powhatan, Prince George, Richmond, Surry, Westmoreland, or York.
Legacy Membership
Legacy Membership is available to parents and children of active WOCC members. Upon approval for membership by the Board of Directors, qualified candidates will receive a 50% reduction of the initiation fee for the following membership categories: Full, Athletic, Social, and Non Resident. Legacy children ages 21-29 also enjoy a reduced dues rate until their 30th birthday.
Group Discount Policy
Groups of five (5) or more individuals who have a unifying relationship (such as: employed by the same employer, members of the same club, and/or members of the same community organization, such as a foundation, chamber or similar entity) will receive a reduced initiation fee when joining within 60 days of each other. The Group policy does not apply during a waitlist period.
